Wolframalpha Free Download

Could you check '~/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/tylereich.wolframalpha/settings.plist' and see if your API key is stored within? If you need help reading the .plist file, let me know

I don't even have the tylereich.wolframalpha folder. Even after deleting and reinstalling the workflow. When I log into the wolfram alpha dev site it says that there has been 4 queries on my appid. Odd. I'm not sure if this will help but it's caused a couple other Alfred related issues for me so far. My startup disk is on different drive than my home folder. Both internal drives but one SSD, one traditional.

I'm not sure what could be causing your issue . I deleted my tylereich.wolframalpha folder and it was immediately recreated when I launched the script. It could be an issue with David Ferguson's Workflows class, or with PHP itself, but I sincerely doubt either is at fault.

Did you get a notification saying your Wolfram|Alpha ID had been set? If so, do you have a file called 'settings.plist' at '~/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/tylereich.wolframalpha/'?

Hello, I teach in school and regularly provide links to wolframalpha with the calculation so that students know my results are correct. For this I want to have the input exactly as provided to the students.

In Latex I can write the n'th root of x as " \sqrt[n]{x}" unfortunately wolframalpha didn't recognize this command at all and takes the squareroot of n times x. (I am aware that \sqrt as command for a general root is misleading) For the life of me I can't find the right syntax to get the input of n'th root of x.

Sorry for the cunfusion underneath, when I wrote "input", I meant what wolframalpha displays as "input" (root symbol and all).Thus on the exercise sheet of the students, I display the cubic root symbol, and not "to the power of 1/3".
