.questions fréquemment posées.

.how do i know when something is up for grabs.

i will post on the story of my instagram page what is being made that day. message me what you want and it's yours.

.why don't you ask for a firm price.

this venture started off as a way for me to bake for people i love, i also don't have a business license so i can only ask for donations or trade to get around the legal nonsense. i also want this to be accessible for anyone who needs to be fed, so if all you can give is a thank you, then that is payment enough.

.how do i pay you.

on the homepage of this site, there are links to paypal, venmo + the cash app.

.do you charge for delivery.

no i do not. i can deliver to anywhere in the portland metro area. gimme those deets and i'll come meet ya.

.can you ship me baked goods.

i don't see why not. i would ask the favor that you pay for the shipping fee. i prefer to ship usps, but if you want another method i can to that.

.how long do these baked goods last.

because there are no preservatives in anything i make the shelf life is limited. levain lasts a week in the fridge kept air tight. ask and i can give you a timeline of about how long the specific goods will last.

.what the fuck is levain.

a french term for sourdough (i love the french, get on board).

.what exactly is sourdough.

the way i define it is: spontaneously fermented symbiotic culture of bacteria + yeast that acts as a leavener for bread (au naturale).

.can i have some of your starter or dough.

hell yeah. happy to get you off + running with your starter. i am also happy to get you raw dough if you want to make pizza, focaccia or whatever at home. anything to get you feeling confident + be well fed.

.what if i want to bake for myself but have no idea what i'm doing.

i got you covered. i post videos on my instagram page and you are always welcome to dm or email me with questions. i will also gladly offer a one on one class on whatever you are curious about or struggling with. same donation system applies as with the goods, give whatever you think it's worth to you.
