No art experience necessary! Reflections celebrates imagination, original ideas, and each student's original perspective.
Start by celebrating what makes you unique. Your story, your community, your culture matter. Think about why they matter to YOU, and go from there!
What makes your world special? Maybe it's a favorite family recipe, a holiday tradition, music that makes you dance, stories passed down through generations, or a place that feels like home.
Think about:
Think about:
What recipes or meals bring your family together?
What holidays or special moments do you celebrate?
What songs or sounds remind you of home?
What memories, languages, or sayings have been passed down?
Where do you feel connected or like you belong?
What makes your family and its story special?
Remember: there is no one right answer. Your culture is part of your story, and your story matters!
