About
The Western Ontario Highland Dancers' Association is a volunteer, not-for profit organization dedicated to:
Promoting interest, study and participation in Highland Dancing
Providing expert instruction to dancers by qualified professionals
Dancer achievement through competitions, festivals, workshops and financial support
WOHDA is comprised of an office bearing, executive committee and its members. It is modeled after other similar associations around the world and is closely associated with the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing, British Association of Teachers of Dancing, ScotDance Canada and ScotDance Ontario.
WOHDA hosts an annual meeting for members each year and the executive meets throughout the year to discuss updates, changes and handle member concerns.
