Transportation Electrification & Applied Mechatronics Lab

Welcome to Transportation Electrification and Applied Mechatronics Lab (TEAMS) at Western Michigan University (WMU), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department.  TEAMS lab is specialized in solving challenging problems in the broad areas of transportation electrification and mechatronic systems. Our mission is to gain a deeper understanding of the application specific electromechanical energy conversion systems, fault diagnosis of electric machines and drives, develop pragmatic solutions for challenging problems, and provide an engaging research experience for graduate/undergraduate researchers. PhD Positions Available for Fall 2024: I have multiple PhD and Post-Doctoral positions in Power Electronics, High Frequency Magnetics and Controls open with a start date in Fall 2024. Candidates with a strong background along with hands-on experience in the above areas are encouraged to apply. A cumulative GPA of 3.6 is preferred.
