What do I need to know as a beginner?
Nothing, you just need to simply show up at one of the sessions, fill out a form and begin your journey to becoming a warrior.
What should I wear?
Loose clothes are ideal, shorts and a t-shirt/vest or gym wear are appropriate.
What equipment will I need?
There is no need to purchase your own equipment unless you are sure you want to commit to regular training. You may bring your own equipment, or borrow some at the gym.
Our beginner classes have limited contact, which allows you to pace yourself accordingly. Taking each lesson at a time will improve both your technique and stamina effectively.
In our community, we were all once in the same position, therefore we consider and respect each other's boundaries.
Sparring is optional, and you may discuss with your partner the preferred level of intensity or any specific exemptions you would like to make.
There is also an instructor watching to ensure fair play and guide your technique.
What if I don't want to compete?
The vast majority of our members wish not to compete, and that's totally fine.
They rather use the sessions to let off some steam, whilst also keeping fit and improving technique.
What are the prices?
All prices can be found on either the "Adult Classes" page or the "Kids Classes" page.
Can I get changed before and showered after?
The gym facilities are available for you to use, including the changing rooms and showers.
Where would I be able to park?
Outside of the gym. There is a free-of-charge parking lot available to you.
Do you offer personal training?
We offer personal training sessions for children and adults, in which you will be able to learn quicker, and train based on your scheduling needs.
Do you teach kids and adults?
We offer training for children from the age of 6, and our adult sessions are suitable for all ages. Everyone is welcome!
How do I pay?
We accept cash and bank transfer, as well as contactless payments which can all be done on-site.
