Local Information

Location

The conference events will be held on the Rutgers University New Brunswick campus.  The room location is to be determined but will be located on the College Avenue Campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

The campus can be reached conveniently in several ways including by road, rail, and air.  The venue is located within a 15 minute walk from the NJ Transit train station in New Brunswick.  The New Brunswick train stop is on the Northeast Corridor line for NJ Transit, which connects to northern stops like Newark Airport, NY Penn Station, and Metropark.  The Northeast Corridor line connects to Trenton and Princeton Junction from the south.

Because of the train line, Newark airport is the most convenient of the NYC-area airports to fly into.  From Newark airport, the NJ transit train ride takes about 30-40 minutes to New Brunswick.

Lecture Halls

Talks will take place in room 1170 of the Academic Building in the College Ave campus of Rutgers, which is located at 15 Seminary Place in New Brunswick.  The Academic Building is actually two buildings -- split into an East and West wing.  Our room is in the West Wing.  When standing on the street (Seminary Place), the West Wing is on the left hand side, and the East Wing is on the right.

Parking

Parking is available in New Brunswick in select Rutgers lots, but prior registration is required.  Fill out the registration form here.  After registering, visitors may park in Lots 11 & College Avenue Deck.  Special event parking and special event permits are only for visitors to Rutgers and and do not include free metered parking.  Faculty, Staff, and Students must park in authorized parking locations according to their parking permit and should not register under the special event parking link.
