Wednesday Morning Doubles League

We bowl at the Hollywood Bowl - Tolworth, Surrey

We bowl on Wednesday mornings (10:30),  but WE don't bowl when the schools are on holiday . Currently we have 6 teams of 2 . Fixtures can be viewed here

For 2025-2026 season start date is 10th September 2025  

The new SCORING system for the doubles league

2 points for each team game 

2 points for the team overall

Additionally, each player will compete against their opposite number for 

1 point per game 

1 point for the overall

maximum points for doubles per match is 16 points

This is a handicap league as bowlers averages vary significantly. Handicap is (235 - Average) x 90%.  (150 gets a handicap of 76; 190 gets a handicap of 40.)  Handicaps are revised weekly once a bowler has played 9 or more games.  Blind score is a flat 211, inclusive of handicap. Maximum handicap is 105
