All IIUM students are insured by Etiqa General Takaful Bhd. Insurance will be paid to students for cases such as bodily injury and death caused by accidental means. 

Coverage for IIUM Malaysian Students

• • GPA for cases such as bodily injury and death caused by accidental means and GTL for death caused by illness.

  • Pay RM 15.00 per year or RM 7.50 per semester. 

Coverage for IIUM International Students

• • Set compulsory by the MoHE for the students to have comprehensive insurance coverage such as GPA, GTL and GHS

  • Pay RM 400.00 per year upon registration
