President
Ananya Gomatam is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience on a Pre-Med Track. She is passionate about care for the under-served, and started William and Mary’s Alzheimer’s Buddies Chapter with the goal of making a difference in the lives of those with dementia and severe memory loss. She is involved with the national chapter as a DEI intern and is excited to quickly implement new policies and research at the local level. She is an EMT, and in her free time loves to read, spend time with her friends, and waste time on NYT games. Emily Garloff is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience on a Pre-Med Track. She loves being involved in her local community as a Williamsburg Engagement Team Leader, as well as in her W&M community through her roles as a Social Cognition Lab Research Assistant and a DJ for WCWM. Emily is thrilled to further her community involvement as the Vice President of the W&M chapter and the Director of Brookdale Chambrel. Outreach Coordinator
Sarah Eid is a sophomore at William & Mary majoring in Biology on a Pre-Med Track. She is eager to make an impact on the local community in Williamsburg and takes part in the outreach conducted by the Alzheimer’s Buddies Chapter where she can see an opportunity to help those affected with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She is involved in a marine evolutionary ecology lab and a social sorority on campus, and in her free time, she enjoys running, being outdoors, and hanging out with friends. Natalie Kim is a sophomore on the pre-med track. She hopes to make a real difference in the healthcare world and is especially interested in healthcare policy. She is also very passionate about taking care of others especially those in a position where they are unable to help themselves. Rehoboth Mesfin is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Anthropology on the pre-med track. She is thrilled to contribute to the chapter and support a community affected by dementia-related diseases. Through her involvement, she aims to deepen her understanding of neurocognitive disorders and their effects on individuals to further raise awareness and encourage more students to volunteer.
