Popcorn Fridays

Popcorn days are one of WLIS Parent Council's biggest fundraisers. On regularly scheduled Fridays throughout the school year, Parent Council volunteers pop enough kernels to distribute free bags of popcorn to all WLIS students and staff. The bulk of the money donated goes beyond popcorn, funding WLIS teacher grants to enhance the learning experience of students.  Popcorn Fridays allow WLIS students to get a special treat free of charge while raising money to support our wonderful teachers!

Teacher Grants

We were able to fund all ten of the teacher grants that were submitted this year (nearly $3000) which are helping students in all grades in the classrooms and at indoor lunch recess.  Check out the attached photos showing some of the grants.
