Designed to expand and foster learning beyond the school walls, the Wider Learning Ecosystem (WLE) cohort was composed of public high schools across New England who committed to redesign their school models with a focus on equity and student voice, using Springpoint’s Indicators of School Quality as a guide. Launched in 2017 and funded by the Barr Foundation, the cohort included a one-year planning stage, three years of implementation support, and a two-year sustainability phase, concluding in 2024.
School staff and students participated in ongoing in-person and virtual events, with resources archived here for reference by cohort members and the broader Catalyze New Models community.
