Sample Instructional Visions
Invest in your preparation and learning from your Springpoint Observation Visit. All schools are scheduled to complete their visits in advance of our convening. At the convening, we will invite Springpoint to share collective findings and each school team will share an Indicator of School Quality aligned artifact from your three years of implementation efforts.
Reflect on progress, successes, and challenges for each of the outputs and outcomes that are part of your current Implementation Award. During the convening’s opening session, each team will present highlights from your reflections through 2 slides (4 min) and spotlight one artifact demonstrating progress on your Implementation Award outputs/outcomes OR your Year 3 (2021-22 school year) implementation plan.
Contribute to our WLE Sounds of Learning installation by collecting eight audio recordings (5 from students, 3 from staff) focused on reflections from experiences “learning beyond school walls.” See detailed instructions here. Audio recordings are due by April 9, 2022.
Gather data and examples on the current status of learning beyond school walls. Include the number of students participating, descriptions of the types of experiences being offered beyond school walls, and how you are measuring quality. At the convening, members of the OSL community will share this data and at least one artifact of student work related to a learning experience outside the school walls.
If you need assistance or more information, please contact Barb (email, cell: 773.503.9500.) She will also be reaching out to “check-in” with team leads regarding convening preparation.
