The UPS Foundation and the UPS Corporate Women’s Leadership Business Impact Committee through the Elevation program endeavors to inspire the GWBC Protégé Alumni to be creative and build sustainable businesses that positively impact the community. The program will provide education and financial investments to women-owned businesses so they may continue to bring diverse perspectives and innovation to our society.
To be eligible for one of the three UPS Foundation grants, participants must:
Be a WBENC GWBC® certified WBE
Have a minimum of $100,000 in annual revenue
Complete the grant application (the application process runs between September 20 - 22, 2023)
Additional requirements are applicable by the grant amount.
In 2023, the Elevation Program will award three grants:
(1) $2,500 Business Grant
One WBE who meets the following criteria will be chosen:
Completion of all 6 modules (by attending the live event OR by watching the recording and completing the online quiz*); module completion is tracked by the UPS-GWBC committee.
(2) $1,250 Business Grants
Two WBEs who meets the following criteria will be chosen:
Completion of at least the remaining 3 modules (by attending the live event OR by watching the recording and completing the online quiz); module completion is tracked by the UPS-GWBC committee.
To apply for the 2023 Elevation Program grants:
Please provide two (2) paragraphs describing how each module has impacted your perspectives and strategies and how you will apply your new perspectives.
Please share how the grant will be utilized within your business.

Confirm five (5) business improvements from the program by December 2023; please define your baseline and incremental progress.
