WLC Instructional Design Center

Welcome!

My name is Joshua Johnson and I am privileged to serve on the Wisconsin Lutheran College faculty as well as head up the Instructional Design Center (IDC) which exists to assist all faculty with designing and maintaining pedagogically sound course design with and without the use of technology.

The purpose of this site (WLCidc.com) is to provide quick references as resources that can be used by faculty and students at WLC. The first project is to create a set of tutorial videos for:

    • Moodle (LMS)
    • Google Sites
    • Screencasting / Presentation recording
    • YouTube content / embedding
    • Links (and eventually guides) for the most common educational technology

There is a lot yet to do, but work has begun on the creation of the Moodle tutorails and they can be found underneath the Moodle tab on the top right portion of the page.

Learning to Moodle: This video series features an in-depth look at using the Moodle (LMS).

Moodle Quick Help: Shorter (1-minute) videos on single topics.
