The first criterion for being member of the world karate master federation (WKMF) is to be a Karate trainer (Sandan) in a recognized organization. An online application form should be completed and submitted from the above link, as well as the resume and the certificate of the last rank. We will evaluate base on your provided documents with our Country Style representatives or Evaluation Board. If your application is approved, it will be forwarded to the vice-president for taking the final decision and the membership certificate will be issued and signed by the WKMF president. Membership fee only requires to pay one-time, which is 130 USD. 130 USD is for a life-time membership. This 130 USD includes one membership certificate and two WKMF patches for using Gi, and the postal shipping fee.

In three ways, you can be the WKMF representative:
Country style representative: Only one person in each country can represent one style. This means that if someone is already for example, representative of Shotokan JKA in Pakistan, you cannot apply to be our style Representative for this style. Style representative should be at least 5th Dan in the style he/she represents. A style representative is supposed to know all karate masters of the style in that country and be quite familiar to the norms and rules of the style.
Country representative: Only one person in each country for all styles, no country can have two representative unless one representative resigns from the position. A country representative should be at least 6th Dan in one style and knows majority style representatives of the country and be familiar to the karate systems and styles of the country.
Regional Representative: Region is defined as areas containing couple of countries. A regional representatives will support the country representatives and a key persons who connect different countries and different styles. A regional representative should be at least 7th Dan. Any defined region can have only one representative.
Advisory Board Members: A team of grand masters with higher rank than 8th Dan from different styles of Karate, different regions and countries. A country can have more than one adviser in the WKMF. They are at the level of directors of the WKMF, and give advice to the directors about steering the whole organization about all issues related to quality, performance and recognition.
