I am a Research Scientist in the Language Lab at LG AI Research. My current research focuses on agentic LLMs, particularly long-horizon coding agents, tool-using agents (e.g., MCP-based agents), and web agents. I am interested in building LLM agents that can reason, interact with external tools and environments, and reliably accomplish complex, long-horizon tasks.
I also work on the research and development of real-world applications powered by LLMs, including on-device AI agents and other practical agentic systems. In addition, I serve as an adjunct professor at the LG AI Graduate School, where I teach and mentor students in AI and language model research.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from POSTECH in 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Jong-Hyeok Lee. During my Ph.D., my research focused on machine translation and its downstream applications, task-oriented dialogue, and text summarization.
My research interests include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Agent-LLM
Text generation
Machine translation and Translation aid (Automatic post-editing, Quality estimation)
Information extraction
Task-oriented dialogue
Language modeling
