Courtney Kelly

Head Coach / Varsity

I'm Coach Kelly and I’m the head coach. I’m from Gahanna and graduated from Lincoln High School in 2003. I am the oldest of 4 kids. My brother is a police officer in Reynoldsburg, my middle sister is a teacher at a charter school in Westerville and our JV coach. I'm so lucky to be able to coach alongside her! My youngest sister just graduated from the University of Cincinnati majoring in architecture and is attending OSU to earn her masters. I currently live in Dublin with my husband Shawn and our three boys Declan, Sullivan and Lochlan.

Growing up I started gymnastics and dance at the age of three and I attended Pinnell Dance Center, where I performed on their competition teams starting at the age of 10. I cheered on their competition cheer team as well. I was a football and competition cheerleader for Gahanna. After high school I went on to cosmetology school at Nationwide Beauty Academy and I currently work for PENZONE salons. I’m a Senior Director level hair stylist and have been with the company since 2009. From 2005 to 2010, I was a professional cheerleader for the Columbus Crew and a squad leader for my last two years. I got to travel with the team to LA in 2008 when we won the MLS Cup. It was such a fun experience. After crewzers, I went on to coach at Franklin Heights for 2 years and Beechcroft for 1 year. I also coached gymnastics at Pinnell for 8 years. I took some time off in 2012 when Declan was born, but I’m so happy to be back coaching and doing what I love and am so passionate about.

Sydney Eidens

Junior Varsity

Hi, I’m coach Eidens! I am from Gahanna Ohio and graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 2015. I started dance at Pinnell Dance Centre when I was 3 years old. It was there I joined their Pom line and decided to try out for cheer my freshman year of high school. I quickly fell in love with the sport and cheered all 4 years of high school at Gahanna. You may be thinking my story sounds a lot like Coach Kelly’s. Well that’s because she’s my sister! I am the middle of three. Coach Kelly is my oldest sister and I have a younger sister as well. I am a kindergarten teacher at a charter school in the Westerville New Albany area. I currently live in Westerville with my husband and two sons. My oldest son’s name is Jaxson, he is 3 years old. My youngest son’s name is Nolan and he is 5 months old. I am so happy to have cheer back in my life, as it was the first thing I truly felt I was good at and had such a passion for. I am looking forward to seeing a new side of cheer through coaching. I’m so excited to be the JV coach at Kilbourne. Go Wolves!
