    • Participated into research projects of MNLab as follows:


Development of energy transaction platform using blockchain technology

    • Developing blockchain based renewable energy certificate (REC) trading platform to maximize power efficiency in certain region

    • Develop proper data pre-processing and energy trading mechanism to maximize individual participant's profit


XAI(eXplainable AI) based smart energy data platform development (KEPCO)

    • Preprocessing the energy data (e.g., recovering missing data, data clustering, pattern recognition).

    • Develop battery state prediction algorithm, and degradation life cycle ratio

    • Developing energy management platform to control overall energy data

    • Preprocessing the cumulative Li-ion battery data and propose the method to predict the remaining useful life

    • Proposing proper operating plan of Li-ion battery to minimize the cost and safety risk in the household


Energy Information Technology Research Center (Energy ITRC)

    • Develop simulator for the energy data preprocessing.

    • Battery state prediction, and mathematically analysis for operation results according to user preferences.


Establishment of fire related data analysis platform to detect fire problem in practical environment

    • Analyzing indoor data such as humidity, temperature, air pollution to detect the fire problem

    • Clustering the data characteristic make it possible to detect the abnormal situation

    • Derive the relation of indoor data to monitor the real-time indoor status

    • Proposed optimal battery scheduling to reduce peak value & total cost simultaneously.

Distributed Energy Resources Cooperation with Energy Storage System to mange Smart City Optimally (ETRI)

    • Provide mathematical modeling of Energy Storage System considering electric cost in Korea.

    • Research grant from Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Korea.

Based on Transactive Energy for Energy Market Trading (ETRI)

    • Suggest a way to trade distributed resources in local area

    • Construct energy trading platform to simulate price difference based on auction theorem

Development in Virtual Power Plant Technology to Aggregate Distributed Resources (KEPCO)

    • Applying the demand response algorithm that customer could make profit practically

    • Suggest a way to combine the result of commercial virtual power plant (CVPP) & technical virtual power plant (TVPP)

Community Energy Supply Facilities & Microgrid Business Model Development (ETRI)

    • Using Energy Storage System as power system stabilizer in local area

    • Develop multi-object ESS operation platform which could be applied in microgrid operation

National Demand Response Business Model Development for Small Scale Electric User (KETEP)

    • Data clustering to manage load electric data in smart city

    • Construct simulation platform to manage whole of electricity in smartgrid
