Inspired by similar efforts at schools such as River Hill and Centennial, Walter Johnson's math enthusiasts banded together to establish the Walter Johnson High School Math Journal in 2025. In this project, interested students write up expository research articles on math topics of their choice. 

The WJ Math Journal aims to inspire collaboration and celebrate the joy of mathematics. It provides a platform for students and community members to explore, discuss, and share both pure and applied mathematical ideas through creative and engaging contributions.

If you are interested in joining our math journal for the 2026-27 school year, fill out this form to express your interest.
