Welcome to Whittle. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Whittle application ("the App"), operated by ARK Services. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Whittle is a productivity application designed for capturing notes and tasks, featuring AI-assisted sorting and pruning.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
Whittle offers an optional premium tier ("Whittle Plus") through monthly, yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Whittle Plus unlocks unlimited AI classifications, voice dictation, and AI pruning guidance.
2.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal
If you purchase a recurring subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
We may offer free trials for certain subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the end of the trial period, your account will be charged the applicable subscription fee.
2.4 Cancellations and Refunds
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.
3. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
Whittle utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) to categorize notes and suggest actions.
Not Professional Advice: The AI suggestions do not constitute financial, medical, legal, or professional advice.
Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be incorrect or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated output before acting upon it.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at [Privacy Policy URL].
5. Modifications to the Service and Prices
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Prices of all subscriptions are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ARK Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the App; (b) any errors or inaccuracies in the AI-generated content.
