Travelling to the Withington Pool.

CAR: There is a small car park behind the swimming pool building, and some parking on surrounding streets.

BIKE: There is a bike stand in front of the building.

BUS: There are very frequent buses from the city centre to Stockport, East & West Didsbury, which pass through Withington village, just a few minutes’ walk from the pool (Nos.41,42,42A,42B, 42C,43,142,143). The No.25 passes close to Withington village on a route between the Trafford Centre & Stockport. There are also stops just outside the pool for the No.111 which goes to/from the city centre.

METROLINK: Burton Road stop is on the East Didsbury to Rochdale via city centre line. The stop is about 10 minutes’ walk away & trams run every 12 minutes on Sundays.

TRAIN : Mauldeth Road station is about 20 minutes’ walk away on the airport to Piccadilly line, but Sunday service is infrequent – check National Rail for information.
