In this western rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream, we are placed in the city of New Orleans in 1875. The play follows the wedding of the governor Thesus and Hypolita and the entanglement of four crossed lovers: Hermia, who is being forced to wed someone she doesn't love by her father, Egeus. Helena is in love with the man who is to marry Hermia. Demetrius is a man who loves Hermia and the man who Egues wants Hermia to marry. Finally, Lysander is the man who Hermia truly loves.
Watch as these lovers try and navigate their feelings under a potion that Oberon, a practicing Voodoo man, has commanded Puck, his mischievous assistant, to place on one of the lovers. Unfortunately, after a grave mistake, everything is backward. It will take an act of congress to get things back to normal!

Othello has just been named Sherif after catching a notorious band of crooks, and this has ruffled some feathers. Specifically of his deputy and old mentor, Iago.
Iago has hatched a plan with Rodrigo to try and ruin Othello's name to run him out of town. Leaving the city in need of a sheriff and Othello's wife, Desdemona, in need of a new man.
Things go too far when Iago frames Desdemona for having an affair with Cassio, Othello's newest hire. This is a pretty sticky situation!
(this one is my midterm and is more fleshed out there!)

Lear was known for being the best (and only) banker in the west! He was a cocky old man, but no one could have imagined that he would split up his estate between his three daughters by how much they loved him!
It was known by the town that his youngest daughter, Cordelia, was very dear to him. So all the town talked when he cut her out entirely of his will, and she left town with her fiance. The remaining daughters took over the banking and estate but kicked their father to the curb. But, when neighboring bankers come in, and Lear is left alone, who will come out on top?
