About Me

I am Witherower, or Kuro Aonix. I am a MUGEN author of 7 years. During those years, I have been improving my coding skills and knowledge of the engine. I am also a collector, having collected over 2600 characters so far.

I first made my presence known in 2019 with Weird Fu Man. It was very simplistic; with me not knowing how to code at all, I just changed the palette, sounds, and a few other things. In September 2020, I made my first ever real character, the original Kuro Aonix. I made it because I liked the character, and wanted to make an edit of it where he was significantly stronger. Contrary to some beliefs, I am named after the character, not the other way around. I then went on to make other characters you might know me for: Vibri, Virtuality, Esix, Bambi_KA, Vergil TAATO, and more.

In late 2022, I changed my name to Witherower. I did this because I slowly stopped associating myself with the Kuro character. However, months after changing my name, I got myself into drama when I leaked the beta version of Baby Desu's Hyuuga Neji. I have regretted doing that ever since. But, it has also inspired me to create the Overhaul update to Vibri, whom has since become the first character in my in-development full-game project, World Rebellion.

Ever since then, I have stayed away from making "cheap" characters, because I was a very hated figure in the cheapie community (and I still am). I am now dedicated to making fun characters for everyone to enjoy, while also making the community a better place.
