# Roleplay Guidelines
Welcome to the world of immersive storytelling! To ensure everyone enjoys their experience, here are the essential rules and structures we all need to embrace:
## General Roleplay Rules
No Godmodding: Keep it fair! Your character can’t dodge every attack or be flawlessly perfect.
Respect Boundaries: Powerplaying (taking control of another player’s character) is a no-go. Always ask before you act!
Stay Grounded: We love creativity, but let’s keep it semi-realistic. Avoid extraordinary powers or outlandish traits like wings or neon pelts.
Honor Ranks: Roles like leaders, deputies, and medicine cats have their places—let’s respect that structure.
Consent is Key: Always consult others before jumping into battles or significant story arcs.
Keep It Appropriate: No graphic content or kit-mating—utilize "fade to black" moments for sensitive scenes.
Leave OOC Drama Behind: Issues should remain outside of roleplay. Let’s keep our in-game atmosphere positive and enjoyable!
## Clan Structure & Territories
Territorial Integrity: Each Clan has its own territory. Please refrain from trespassing unless there’s a compelling narrative reason.
Gatherings & Meetings: Fourtrees is the backdrop for gatherings, while High stones hosts Medicine Cat Meetings. Make these moments count!
In-Character Leadership: Leaders select their deputies within the game, ensuring authenticity in the story.
Journeys to High stones: Medicine cats must travel here to experience dreams or conduct naming ceremonies. It’s a vital tradition!
Cross-Clan Relationships: Any romantic ties across Clans need to receive mod approval to maintain balance.
Realistic Progression: Time flows in our world—you should age and change ranks in a believable manner (e.g., 6 moons until apprenticeship).
## Combat and Conflict Mechanics
Pre-Approved Battles: Major skirmishes require a thumbs up from the mods to ensure a structured approach.
Turn-Based Fighting: Take turns in battles—one move per turn keeps the action dynamic and organized.
Avoid Instant Outcomes: No insta-kills, insta-blinds, or permanent injuries without mutual agreement.
Wounds Matter: Remember, injuries should have real consequences, and healing takes time!
Build Conflicts Gradually: Don’t create new wars out of the blue. Let tension rise through engaging storytelling.
## RP Etiquette & Activity Expectations
Respect the Scene: Avoid spamming or disrupting serious moments with OOC chat.
Active Participation: If leaders, deputies, or medicine cats are inactive, they may be replaced after a warning.
OOC Communication: Keep out-of-character discussions within brackets or designated chat spaces.
Inclusivity is Key: Welcome newcomers and ensure everyone feels included—no gatekeeping here!
Effort Counts: Roleplay should flow in full sentences. Let’s steer clear of phrases like “kills instantly” or “lol RP.”
Rule Enforcement: Moderators hold the right to warn, kick, or ban players who break these guidelines.
By following these guidelines, we create a vibrant and respectful roleplay environment that everyone can enjoy. Let’s weave some unforgettable stories together!
