I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at North Dakota State University. I am also a Faculty Member of the Discipline-Based Education Research (DBER) Ph.D. Program. Before joining the faculty at NDSU in 2018, I earned my Ph.D. in experimental psychology at Kent State University (advisor: Dr. Katherine Rawson) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Skidmore College (advisor: Dr. Daniel Peterson). My program of research focuses on understanding cognitive processes that underlie human memory and discovering ways to support and enhance student learning by investigating evidence-based learning strategies.
