Elegantech Labs Inc ("we," "us," or "our") built the Wishi mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Wishi App.
By using Wishi, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We collect different types of information to provide and improve the App:
Personal Information: When you create an account, we verify your email address and may collect profile details such as your name or user ID.
User-Generated Content (Wishes & Reactions): We collect the content you create, including the titles, descriptions, and categories of the wishes you post, as well as the reactions (e.g., emojis, support) you send to other users.
Usage Data: Information about your interactions within the App, such as wishes viewed, features used, diagnostics, and crash reports.
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Log Data: In case of app errors, we collect technical info such as IP address, device statistics, app configuration, timestamps, and other statistics to help us fix issues.
We use your information to:
Manage and maintain your account and authentication state
Operate the wish-sharing feed and ensure your wishes are displayed to the community
Enable community features, such as reaction counts and wish rotation logic
Communicate important updates and notifications regarding your account
Enforce user safety and comply with legal requirements
Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, or prohibited content
Wishi is a community platform. When you post a wish, the content (Title, Description, Category) is visible to other users so they can send support and reactions. Do not post sensitive personal information (e.g., home addresses or financial info) in your wishes.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information:
With Service Providers: Trusted third-party services (e.g., Firebase) that help operate the App’s database, authentication, and infrastructure, under strict confidentiality agreements
Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations, valid legal processes, or government requests
Safety & Enforcement: To protect user safety, enforce our Terms of Service, or respond to legal claims
Wishi integrates third-party services to provide its features. These providers have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review separately:
Google Firebase: Used for authentication, database storage, and analytics
Apple / Google: Used for app distribution and billing (if applicable)
Wishi does not explicitly use cookies within the mobile app environment. However, third-party libraries (like authentication services) may use similar technologies (such as tokens) to maintain your login session and secure your data.
Wishi is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
We retain your data (such as your active wishes and reactions) only as long as necessary to provide our services.
If you delete a wish, it is removed from the public feed immediately
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data and associated wishes within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention requirements
We use commercially reasonable security measures (such as encryption via HTTPS/TLS and secure database rules) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Use of the App is at your own risk.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:
Accessing the data we hold about you
Requesting corrections or deletions of your data
Withdrawing consent or limiting data processing
You can delete your wishes directly within the app. To request full account deletion or exercise other rights, use the in-app delete function or contact us at edbraouf@gmail.com.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
