What is Our Mission at WISER?

At WISER, we hold the belief that every student deserves a mentor when performing science research. 

This is why we founded this program, to create an affordable way for students to get research mentors, who can guide them through the science research process and give them the skills to succeed beyond research. 

WISER seeks to provide students with a strong foundation of skills to perform their independent research beyond their program involvement and guide them through their independent research journey.

 The critical analysis, problem-solving, and innovation skills that come with research are vital to all parts of life, and we seek to foster this scientific mindset in all of our students.

 We also provide students with the opportunity to create their own, quantifiable research projects, by taking a hands-on approach to the research process.  

Our programs aim to allow all students to further their scientific passions through their research, doing what they love, and making a meaningful impact on the world as well.

 Beyond this, we want to create a program accessible to students of all ages, from elementary through high school, and give everyone the tools they need to become better scientists.
