Wise Spend ("Wise Spend", "we", "us", or "our") is an expense tracking application designed to help you manage and organize your personal expenses.

Your privacy is important to us. Wise Spend is designed with a local-first privacy model: your expense information is stored locally on your device and is not collected, uploaded, or transmitted to our servers.

1. Information We Collect

Wise Spend does not collect personal financial information from you.

The expense information you enter into the app may include:

- Expense amounts

- Expense categories

- Expense descriptions or notes

- Expense dates

- Other information you choose to enter into your local expense records

This information is stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because Wise Spend does not collect or transmit your expense information to us, we do not use your expense data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or other purposes.

Your expense information is used within the app to provide features such as:

- Recording expenses

- Organizing expenses into categories

- Viewing your spending history

- Calculating totals and summaries

- Displaying expense-related reports or statistics

3. Data Storage

Your expense data is stored locally on the device where Wise Spend is installed.

Wise Spend does not currently provide cloud storage or server-side synchronization for your expense data.

If you delete the app, clear its application data, or lose access to your device, locally stored expense data may be lost unless you have made your own backup using functionality provided by your device or operating system.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your expense information with third parties.

Because your expense data remains on your device, we do not have access to that information.

5. Third-Party Services

Wise Spend does not currently require third-party services to store or process your expense information.

If we introduce third-party services or features that change how personal information is collected, stored, or processed, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where appropriate, notify users of those changes.

6. Data Security

We design Wise Spend to minimize the amount of personal information that leaves your device.

Because expense information is stored locally, the security of that information also depends on the security of your device. We recommend using appropriate device security measures, such as a passcode, PIN, password, or biometric authentication.

7. Children's Privacy

Wise Spend is not specifically directed at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Wise Spend does not currently collect or transmit expense information to our servers, there is no server-side collection of children's expense information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Wise Spend or applicable legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this policy.

If Wise Spend introduces features such as accounts, cloud synchronization, online backups, analytics, or family sharing, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what information those features collect and how that information is handled.
