By downloading, installing, or using WirelessShare (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
WirelessShare is a peer‑to‑peer file transfer tool that operates entirely over your local network. It does not require an internet connection, mobile data, or any cloud service. It also does not depend on an existing Wi‑Fi router — devices can connect directly via a local hotspot, Wi‑Fi Direct, or any other local IP‑based connection.
Key features include:
Automatic discovery of nearby devices on the same local network.
Connection via QR code scanning or pairing code entry.
Sending and receiving photos, videos, audio, and all document types.
Web Sharing: the sender hosts a temporary local HTTP server. The receiver opens a browser, scans the QR code or enters the displayed IP address and PIN, and downloads files without installing the App.
All transfers happen directly between your device and the recipient’s device. Files never leave your local network and are never stored on any external server.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You are solely responsible for the content you share. Prohibited activities include:
Transmitting illegal, harmful, defamatory, or obscene material.
Interfering with the proper operation of the App or the network.
Attempting to bypass security or authentication measures.
The App, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy (see below). By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in that policy.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR‑FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY TRANSFERRED FILES WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third‑party rights.
The App may contain links to third‑party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.
