Our lab focuses on studying wireless communication technologies to be deployed in next generation networks (6G and beyond). We work mainly on the physical layer.
Real-world networks are large, dense and not very structured. They have a lot of traffic and interference that impacts performance. Our objectives include network modeling, design, performance analysis, resource allocation and management.
We want to answer questions like:
Does using a certain technology make sense - all of the time, some of the time or ever?
How can we deploy technologies to enhance (and hopefully optimize) data rates, reliability and other goals we may have?
