Wireless Mouse turns your phone into a remote touchpad, keyboard, and controller for a computer on the same network. This policy explains exactly what data the app handles, where it goes, and what it never does.

SHORT VERSION: The app has no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, and no developer-operated servers. Everything it sends goes to your own computer over your local network.

1. DATA SENT OVER YOUR LOCAL NETWORK (LAN)

The app connects to the companion program running on your computer (the PC server). Traffic stays on your Wi-Fi or LAN and is not routed to us. What is sent:

• Pointer control — mouse movement, scroll, button and gesture events.

• Keyboard input — characters and shortcuts you type in the app, sent so they are typed on the computer.

• Control commands — media, volume, system, explorer and application-launch commands, plus text you send through file transfer features.

• App search — a request that returns the computer's installed application names and icons so you can launch them from the phone.

• Discovery and pairing — local broadcast messages used to find the computer, a one-time pairing PIN, and public keys used to establish a session.

• File transfer — files you explicitly select and share through the in-app file sharing feature.

The computer program stores session state in memory only. It does not send any of this data anywhere else.

2. FILE SHARING (FTP)

• Sharing is started and stopped by you, and stops automatically after the timeout you configure (default 30 minutes).

• You choose the folder to share using the system folder picker. The app never scans your whole storage; it can only access the folder you selected.

• Sharing is protected by a username and a password that changes every time sharing starts, and can be set to read-only.

• Transfers use standard FTP, which is not encrypted. Use it only on a trusted private network.

3. BLUETOOTH MODE

If you use Bluetooth HID, input is sent directly to the paired device over Bluetooth. It does not pass through the PC server or any of our computers.

4. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

• Settings — sensitivity, scrolling, haptics, theme, handedness, and similar options.

• Saved computers — computer name and local IP address.

• Session tokens — used to authenticate with your computer. These are stored encrypted at rest using Android's Keystore-backed encrypted preferences where available.

• Customisations — your quick-action order, pin and hide choices, and gesture mappings.

• File sharing settings — chosen folder reference, port, read-only mode and auto-stop timeout.

All of this is stored locally in the app's private storage. It is not synced to us, and there is no server-side copy because we operate no servers.

5. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

• No account, name, email address, phone number, or password.

• No location data. Location and nearby-device permissions are declared "never for location" and are used only to discover your computer; the app never derives your position.

• No advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no marketing profiles.

• No analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports.

• No clipboard reading. The app may copy an address or link for you, but never reads what is on your clipboard.

• No camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, call log, or SMS access.

• No sale or sharing of data with third parties for any purpose.

6. PERMISSIONS AND WHY THEY ARE USED

• Internet/network & Wi-Fi state — find your computer and exchange control commands.

• Local network access — reach the PC server on your LAN.

• Nearby Wi-Fi devices — discover the computer on the local network. Never used for location.

• Location — required by Android for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning only. Declared "never for location"; the app never collects or derives location.

• Bluetooth (scan, connect) — pair and control a device in Bluetooth HID mode. Never used for location.

• Vibrate — haptic feedback for taps and gestures.

• Notifications — the persistent notification shown while a connection or file share is running in the background, so you can see and stop it.

• Foreground services — keep the connection and file sharing alive reliably in the background.

7. PURCHASES

Optional subscriptions are sold through Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details; Google Play processes the payment and provides us with a purchase token so the app can unlock the feature you bought. Google Play's own privacy policy governs that data.

8. SECURITY

• Control traffic is authenticated with an HMAC derived from a key negotiated during pairing, so modified or replayed packets are rejected.

• Session tokens are encrypted at rest on the device.

• Control traffic and file transfers are not end-to-end encrypted. Anything on a network can, in principle, be observed by someone else on that network, so use a trusted private network and avoid public or open Wi-Fi.

• Anyone on your network who knows the current credentials could operate the computer server; pair only with your own computer and re-pair if you suspect it has changed.

9. RETENTION AND DELETION

• Stored data stays on your device until you remove it. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it deletes everything.

• You can forget a saved computer, or use the in-app reset to clear settings, customisations and tokens.

• File sharing sessions end automatically at the timeout you set.

• Because we don't host servers, we don't store copies of your data to delete on request—deletion happens on your device.

10. CHILDREN

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. YOUR RIGHTS

If applicable in your region, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold. Since we hold none of your data, such a request is handled by deleting the app's local storage on your device, which you can do yourself at any time.

12. CHANGES

We may update this policy as the app changes. The copy shipped inside the app is updated with new releases, and the date above shows the latest revision.
