This Privacy Policy explains how HPG Mobile ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use Wipely: Private Browser (the "App") on Android. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Our approach

Wipely is designed to keep as little as possible. Your browsing activity stays on your device and is deleted automatically when you close the App or tap Wipe. We do not have accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts.

2. Information stored only on your device

While you browse, the App temporarily keeps the following on your device so web pages work normally:

• Browsing history and open tabs

• Cookies, cache and site data

• Files you choose to download

Browsing history, tabs, cookies, cache and site data are deleted when you close the App or tap Wipe. We never receive, see or upload this information. Files you download are saved to your device storage and stay there until you delete them.

3. Information collected by third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may automatically collect certain information:

Google AdMob (advertising) To show ads, AdMob may collect your device's Advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system version, app interactions with ads and approximate location derived from IP address. This may be used to show personalized or non-personalized ads, measure ad performance and prevent fraud. Google Firebase Analytics Collects anonymous usage data such as app opens, screens viewed, session length, device type and OS version to help us improve the App. It does not collect the websites you visit. Privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Google Firebase Crashlytics Collects crash reports and diagnostic data (device model, OS version, crash logs) so we can fix bugs. Privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Permissions

• Internet / network state: to load web pages and ads.

• Notifications (Android 13+): to show download progress. Optional.

• Storage / media access (older Android versions): to save files you choose to download. Optional.

You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

5. Advertising choices

You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings.

6. What private browsing does not do

Wipely clears browsing data from your device. It does not hide your IP address or your activity from your internet service provider, your employer or school network, or the websites you visit. It is not a VPN.

7. Data retention and deletion

We do not keep your browsing data. Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their own policies (for example, Firebase Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months by default).

To request deletion of any data associated with your device, email admin@hpgmobile.com with the subject "Data deletion – Wipely". You can also reset your Advertising ID in device settings, which disconnects past advertising data from your device.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Data sent to third-party services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect information.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
