The Hotel

The Workshop will take place at Best Western Grand Hotel de Paris & Spa in Villard de Lans, a quiet, the largest town in the Vercors pre-alpine range, sitting at 1000m of altitude.

The hotel does have a spa and a pool, so bring your swimwear!

You will not have to get to the hotel on your own. We will take all together a local bus connection from Grenoble main station.

Getting to Villard

You can get to Villard on your own -- either by renting a car or by taking a public bus from Grenoble. We will organize a meeting point at Grenoble Bus Station, and we will take bus Grenoble to Corrençon.

Departure from Grenoble train and bus station: Wed Jan 28th, 15.00

Return to Grenoble train and bus station: Fri Jan 30th, 13.50

Getting to Grenoble

Plane

Grenoble is linked to the world via the Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport. There are Flixbus, BlaBlaBus, and SNCF direct train connections from Lyon airport to Grenoble. Buses run every 30m; trains are more expensive and rarer; you need 1h irrespective if you take the bus or the train.

Train

Grenoble is also linked to the French TGV high-speed train network. Direct trains to Paris (Gare de Lyon) take 3 hours. Train connections exist also with Paris Charles de Gaulle airport (via Lyon, 4 hours), and Geneva airport (direct, 2 hours).
