A retrofit biometric trigger replacement renders any gun unfireable by anyone without the correct fingerprint. The trigger has a battery life of 24 hours. Once the battery is depleted the trigger will act as normal until the battery is recharged (1 hour). When turned on, the user can choose from automatic or manual setup. 

Automatic Setup (1 Minute)

The user scans their fingerprint as an action. The gun is now locked to that user. This lock can be countered with a DV13 Electronic Security Check. 

Manual Setup (1 Hour)

The user can manually set the lock calibrating the system to a more tailored security level. The user rolls their Electronic security check setting the DV to be countered.

Works the same as the original trigger lock however should someone without the correct biometric key pull the trigger, they are subjected to a shock that causes them to drop the weapon.

When firing the weapon without the correct biometric key the user must make a DV15 concentration check. If they fail, they immediately drop the weapon as they receive a slight shock.
