The 2012 Phenomenon

The Mayan calendar rose to fame in 2012, when a “Great Cycle” of its Tzolkin (long Count) the divine component came to an end, inspiring some to believe that the world would END on 21st December 2012.

The Mayan Calendar consists of three separate corresponding calendars: the Long Count, the Tzolkin (divine calendar), and the Haab (civil calendar). Each of them is cyclical, meaning that a certain number of days must occur before a new cycle can begin.

The three calendars are used simultaneously. The Tzolkin and the Haab identify the days, but not the years. The Long Count date comes first, then the Tzolkin date, and last the Haab date. A typical Mayan date would read: 13.0.0.0.0 4 Ahau 8 Kumku, where 13.0.0.0.0 is the Long Count date, 4 Ahau is the Tzolkin date, and 8 Kumku is the Haab date... Ten Years ago, December 21, 2012 was the date that the Mayans prophesied that the paradigm shift would happen...

Today, after 10 years we can see how that prophecy is already becoming a reality, the Awakening of Consciousness is happening, little by little more people realise that they have been wrapped up in and hidden behind a veil of illusions and lies that has only benefited a few. Today there are so many things, people, situations and conditions that have been used in the past to subdue us, control us, suppress us and oppress us!

NOW these same things are leading us to liberation and connection with our fellow beautiful human beings.

The INTENSION of this event is to bring together Ancient Mayan Wisdom and Ancestral Shamanic Medicines from around the world.

The main site and venue for camping and the majority of activities of this event is near the famous Dos Ojos Cenote zone, Muuchxiimbal, a designated scientific area near Tulum (just 2 hours from Cancun Airport).

This unique of our sacred planet and Mother Earth - here in Mexico you will find Cenotes. Magical bodies of water (like underground wells) that are scattered throughout the Costa Maya on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

Spend time and enjoy the experience of swimming between two or more bodies of water connected by underground caverns, these cenotes are ideal for exploring, diving and snorkelling, their wonderful crystal clear waters are frequently found inside caves, like natures Palaces or Cathedrals, with fascinating rock formations and fossil remains, which have been submerged for millions of years. And here for you now.
