What to know...
A well-trained dog makes for a more enjoyable pet and a better bond between the pet and the owner.
This class is for hunting and non-hunting dogs alike. Using positive reinforcement, your dog will learn to offer up behaviors for the rest of their life. You will learn to capture those behaviors and learn to be careful about what you reward so you do not create unwanted behaviors.
By the end of the class, your dog will sit, down, come when it is called and loose leash walk at your side. You will also learn about creating engagement with your dog, how to evolve it and keep it for the life of your dog. If you and your dog desire, you will be able to teach your dog to retrieve using positive methods.
The best results will be obtained by handlers who take what they learn from each class and apply it at home with their dog each week. We will help you learn how to train your own dog, but we will NOT train your dog for you.
