Hong-Bae Jeon (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mathematics in 2017, and received the Ph.D. degree in Integrated Technology in 2023, both at Yonsei University, Republic of Korea. In 2022, he was a Visiting Researcher with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong. He was with Samsung Electronics, Republic of Korea, as a Staff Engineer in 2024. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Communications Engineering, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), Republic of Korea. His research interests include core enabling technologies for 6G wireless communications, with an emphasis on optimization and signal processing for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), fluid antenna systems (FAS), and non-terrestrial networks (NTNs). He was the recipient of the Gold Prize in the 27th Samsung HumanTech Paper Award in 2021.
