Currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London with renowned pianist Dmitrii Alexeev, Nikita Birzanitsa is an internationally award-winning Ukrainian pianist of exceptional artistry.
His programme at St Mary the Virgin, Wingham, showcases the full power and poetry of the piano: Beethoven’s profound and transcendent Sonata Op.111, Brahms’ dazzling Paganini Variations, Ravel’s shimmering and atmospheric Gaspard de la nuit, and Liszt’s electrifying Mephisto Waltz.
Combining formidable technique with depth and imagination, Nikita represents a new generation of concert pianists trained at the highest level and already recognised on the international stage.
