Wine Education and Promotion

WIC (Wine Information Center) at India's first wine park, located in Nashik, which is popularly known as the wine and grape capital of India. WIC has India's largest wine collection at factory prices and conducts academic wine tours for students at affordable prices. Every year, around 35,000 tourists visit WIC.

Wine is a very misunderstood product in India. With a population of more than 1 billion, India ranks among the top 5 countries in consumption of alcohol, where wine is only consumed at 2%. Clearly, there is a lack of wine education, and there is a lot of potential in the Indian market, which is growing year by year. Hence, Mr. Vikrant Holkar started with the WIC concept. Approximately 8,000 to 10,000 students visit WIC from across India to learn about wines. We conduct a session called "Grape to Glass," which consists of a vineyard tour, a winery tour, a detailed presentation on wine, wine tastings, and a certificate of attendance. We also provide complimentary (free) accommodation for students those who take the Grape to glass session with us.
