I have been using Windows 10 since it was released and built a new rig for this OS.
My hardware details can be found via this link
Unfortunately my processor AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 8 Core AM4 CPU/Processor is not on the supported CPU list for windows 11.
However Microsoft changed the goalposts so now you can install Windows 11 on a new device....so that means a fresh install but you do not need to buy a new Windows 11 license. After 3 months of daily use I have had no problems with Windows 11 and my CPU more than copes well.
14 March 2022 : Installed Windows 11 on a new NVMe drive. Had to install all the apps I wanted again but that was no issue and a chance to get rid off a lot of unused stuff.
When installing make sure to create restore points and a disk image. The repair disk apps are available via the boot Win11 USB drive.
