a good few of my windows 10 workstations on the domain have issues where when a user logs in, it just gives them a black screen. It's completely black with just the mouse cursor. It stays like this forever until someone goes in and does ctrl alt delete and runs new task and runs the explorer task again. This triggers the desktop to load. Sometimes even doing this wont work and needs you to run the explorer again and lock using windows L keys and then unlocking it pushes the desktop to show. Does anyone know how I can pinpoint exactly what is causing the desktop not to load?
One of my high-profile users is having an issue with Quickbooks. After trying this on 3 different computers I can definitely say this is not a computer problem it is a software problem. That's a good thing, because at least from the outside, it would appear that not much else at all has changed about the Surface Pro aside from its low-key new matte black color option.
