Robin Abdallah-Doukkara, M.A.O.M., Dipl. O.M., Lic. Ac. graduated in 2003 with a Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest college of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in the United States. After graduating, Robin did a post-graduate herbal internship with Dr. Tao Xie of Pathways AIDS Care Clinic in Boston.
In addition to private practice, Robin spent 10 years as clinical and teaching faculty, for her Alma Mater, in both the Chinese and Japanese acupuncture departments, at sites such as Dimock Community Healthcare Center, Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, and the NESA teaching clinics.
Robin has also been a part of the inception of two clinics dealing with public medicine in the impoverished community, that deal with treating addiction and AIDS/HIV, Roxbury Neighborhood Acupuncture and La Clinica Familia Mir in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
Special Projects have included Boston Acupuncture Trauma Relief for trauma victims from the Boston Marathon Bombing and Greater Lawrence Family Healthcare Center's grant sponsored project to treat women with chronic pain, in the local community.
Her specialties include, but are not limited to, Fertility, Autoimmune Disorders, Chronic Pain, Insomnia, Arthritis, Depression, and Anxiety.
Robin enjoys spending time with her 13 year-old, traveling, meditating, reading, painting, drawing, and being outdoors.
