As a small company operating locally within Fratston, we here at Wind and Bind believe that each set of stationery contributes to your unique story. Whether you’re breaking hearts or making love, we’ve got the right paperclip for you.
Pierre founded Wind and Bind in 1888, before the invention of coloured pictures. Pierre was a pioneer ahead of his time, passionate about small bendy wires and all they could achieve in a paper world. Early in his career, he sought to win the heart of his beloved, Gertrude, thus leading to the first, although unknown and unpatented, invention of heart paperclips.
These heart paperclips have remained at the core of our business, and have now extended into fun shapes like ducks, otters, foxes and eggs.
Our current director, Bartholomew, Pierre’s daughter’s thrice-removed third cousin by marriage, has a keen eye for detail. With over 30 years of industry experience, Barty has carefully accumulated the best team over four different branches in the region. Ambitious and innovative with his many rich connections, Barty hopes to expand the paperclip enterprise and venture into staplers and protractors.
So, whether you're stocking up for the upcoming school year, refreshing your office supplies, or searching for the perfect gift, Wind and Bind is here to dine with you and be your companion on the journey of self-exploration and realisation. Remember, a memory is not a real memory unless it is clipped by us.
