Parents, drop off your kids at Winchester Community Church every Thursday for a great night of fun where they can grow and learn more about Jesus! Anyone in elementary school is welcome at SOAR on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8pm from October through May (with no SOAR during school vacation days). Also, stay up-to-date through the WinCC Facebook page for any special events or cancellations. We hope to see you!

Why Should I Bring My Kid To SOAR?
Your kid is growing up and has some weird questions for you. How come people get sick? How come people die? Who is God? How come some people don't believe in God? How come nice people get hurt? Who is Jesus? Is God always watching? While we can't promise your kid is going to come home with all the answers, we can promise that every week our SOAR Leaders will be working along with the Holy Spirit to help lead them down the path that gets them there. We preach the Word of God because we love His Son Jesus Christ. We play games so we can create opportunities to identify and encourage one another's talents. We share a snack because we live to serve one another in love. SOAR is 90 minutes every week where your child will be exposed to an environment where kindness and respect for others are prized higher than personal achievement, all for the glory of Jesus Christ.

What Can My Kid Expect At SOAR?
Students will attend a themed bible study, play games in our gymnasium, and share a snack with friends all under the direct supervision of adult SOAR volunteer leaders. Students accumulate points for the SOAR store by bringing their Bible, bringing their friends, and following Leader instructions. Parents are welcome to stay on site with their students, but most parent's do not. The program runs 90 minutes. All rooms under video surveillance.

Outside of anything particular to the unique health needs of your specific child, students are asked to bring their Bible. If a student does not have a Bible, a Bible will be gifted to that student by the church.

SOAR is a free service provided to parents of elementary students in the Winchester community, volunteer-operated by members of Winchester Community Church. Students do not need to appear at the church with money of any kind, and students will never be asked for money by anyone on staff at any time.
