4th Annual WiML Mentorship Program (2024-2025)

Mentorship Program Goal

The goal of this program is to provide mentorship to early-career women and non-binary people studying and/or working in machine learning. The program will run between October 2024 and June 2025. Application deadline on the 15th of September. Late applications will be considered with a lower priority.

This year, we will have three cohorts of mentees and we are also looking for mentors:

Eligible mentees for this program are Post-graduate degree applicants, Post-Master's/post-Ph.D. industry job seeker, Post-Master's/post-Ph.D. faculty job seeker cohort
Eligible mentors for this program are all (women, nonbinary, allies) individuals with experience & availability to participate!

Post-graduate degree applicants

a post-graduate degree applicant cohort of Women and non-binary graduates applying for research-oriented degree programs in machine learning (Master’s and doctoral) during the 2024–2025 cycle.

Industry job seeker

a post-Master's/post-Ph.D. job seeker cohort of Women and non-binary graduates who have just completed or are close to completing a post-graduate (Master’s and doctoral) degree program, and will search for applying for industry jobs in machine learning during 2024–2025.

Academia job seeker

a post-Master's/post-Ph.D. job seeker cohort of Women and non-binary graduates who have just completed or are close to completing a post-graduate (Master’s and doctoral) degree program, and will search for faculty jobs in machine learning during 2024–2025.

Data Usage and Sharing

Your submitted information will be shared with WiML Organizers and the WiML Board. You will also be asked for consent to contribute aggregated, anonymized data to WiML reports and publicity.

Post-graduate applicants

- 15th Sept: application deadline (soft deadline, applications received by this date will be given a priority)

- 30th of Sept: acceptance notification

Industry job seekers

- 15th Sept: application deadline (soft deadline, applications received by this date will be given a priority )

- 15th of Oct: acceptance notification

- 8th of Nov: acceptance notification

Academia job seekers

- 15th Sept: application deadline (soft deadline, applications received by this date will be given a priority)

- 30th of Oct: acceptance notification

- 13th of Dec: acceptance notification
