Our school counselors are committed to working with all students to help them achieve their full potential. We collaborate with school staff, families, and the community to create a safe, respectful learning environment where young people can take personal and academic risks as they grow into empathetic, productive, positive members of society.
We look forward to working with you!

I am so excited to start the fourth full year of my school counseling career here at Wilson Middle School. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Middlebury College, and I graduated in May 2021 with a post-master's Certificate of Advanced Studies in Adolescent School Counseling in the Prevention Science and Practice Program at Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I received my master's degree in 2020. I believe in a comprehensive school counseling model that centers students’ humanity, that views families as partners, that is connected with the community, and that advocates for students. Students deserve to feel loved and empowered by their school, and as a school counselor, I will be a catalyst for ensuring this happens. When I’m not at WMS, you can find me coaching lacrosse, teaching my cat Mia new tricks, traveling, cheering on the NHL Islanders, and spending time outside.

I have worked in the Natick Public Schools for 29 years. I have been at Wilson for fourteen of those years. I have great faith in young people and consider it a privilege to work with the families at Wilson. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire and my Master's of Education in Counseling at Bridgewater State University. My husband and I have three children, ages 26, 24 and 22, all of whom went through Wilson. Outside of Wilson Middle School, I perform in a local multigenerational choir, Sound & Spirit, with my daughter, son-in-law, and many friends. I also serve on the Artistic Committee for Sound & Spirit. I enjoy walking, yoga, going to Broadway shows, and spending time with family and friends.

I am thrilled to be working as a school counselor here at Wilson. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Merrimack College and my graduate degree in Professional Psychology from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (now William James College). I have worked in local schools for the past 12 years as a counselor, teaching assistant, and in other student support roles. I am eager to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents in the Natick community. Middle school can often be regarded as the "challenging" or "awkward" years, but I feel fortunate to be involved at a time when so much development and learning takes place that allows students to build their skills and find themselves as adolescents. I have always loved working with kids and appreciate the unique insight they offer. I am happily married to my husband, and am a busy mom to my daughter (11 years) and son (9 years). I value the importance of time spent with family and friends. I also love home projects, traveling, and have a deep love for musical theater (although you would never catch me on the stage!).

I have worked as a school counselor at the Wilson Middle School for fourteen years, and I have loved growing and working with this vibrant community. I know that the middle school years can be tough, but love helping students and families through these challenging times. I got my BA at Stonehill College in 2003, and completed my Masters at Boston College in 2006. One of my greatest accomplishments at Wilson has been the creation of the Mentoring Program, which was created to connect students with adults in school through activities and building relationships. Outside of being a counselor, I love theatre and the arts. I have two kids of my own, who are keeping me on my toes!
