Founded in 1951, the Wilson Boro Lions Club boasted an impressive 198 charter members, making it the largest Lions charter club in the state's history. Guided by the International Lions Club motto, "We serve," the club has consistently demonstrated its commitment to the Wilson community.
Over the years, the Wilson Borough Lions Club has played a crucial role in the community's development. In the early 1960s, the club oversaw and financed the construction of the Meuser Pool. It has been a steadfast supporter of various Wilson School District events and programs, contributing to the educational well-being of the community.
