This Willow Springs Firewise site is designed and used strictly to share information with our community about our Firewise USA efforts and associated topics.
What information do we collect?
We do not collect any information automatically and are not connected to a Google Analytics account to gather insights or metrics on usage.
If we are requesting volunteers, registration, RSVPs, sign ups, or similar information for events, we will collect the information that you provide directly into the associated form or by other means.
How do we use the information?
We will use the information you provide directly through any form or other means as needed for the event (for example, to pick up slash from your home) and as indicated on the form or elsewhere, if applicable (for example, if you agree to share the number of hours that you worked on fire mitigation at your home with the team/zone captains/volunteers, so we can count it towards our Firewise USA program annual requirements; for example, if you are RSVPing for an event, we will know to expect you). The specific information you provide in the form or by other means will not be used for any purposes outside of community Firewise USA program efforts.
What information do we share?
Any information you provide directly through any form or by other means is not shared outside the Firewise USA community volunteers (Resident Leaders, Zone Captains, other volunteers as needed). The specific information you provide in the form or by other means will not be used for any purposes outside of community Firewise USA program efforts. We may compile and submit a general summary of participation information for required Firewise reporting, but no personal information will be included.
Note that for the 10/5/2024 slash event, a local tree care/landscaping company will be operating the truck and will be driving to each residence signed up for a slash pickup; however, we will not provide a list of homeowner details directly to the company.
