Willian Zamora is a full Professor in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Technology at the University Laica Eloy Alfaro of Manabi in Manta, Ecuador.  He received his MSc. degree in Computer and Network from the University Polytechnic Valencia, Spain, in 2015, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2018 from the same institution. His research expertise lies in the Internet of Things, Smart Cities, Machine Learning, CrowdSensing, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Notably, he has contributed significantly to smartphone-based environmental monitoring and the development of UAV swarm coordination protocols. His work is supported by numerous publications with high citation counts, reflecting its impact in the field. Zamora also maintains a strong international research network. His research aims to develop and apply innovative technological solutions for urban and transportation challenges.
